Sunday School
Sunday Worship 10:00 AM
At Concordia, children's learning actually starts during Sunday worship services. Children are active participants during worhip with activities, such as children's sermons, children's music, and special celebrations. We offer bulletins geared for children so that the gostpel is presented in a way that children can better relate their faith to God's Word.

After worship service, children come together to sing songs and participate in lessons and activities in age-appropriate classes for ages 3 through 14.
We will place a special year-long emphasis on the Bible starting in the fall. Age appropriate Bibles will be used for each of our classes from Preschool through Upper Elementary. Children will hear the Bible stories, learn to use the bible and apply its teachings to their lives.
While the children are in Sunday School, parents can enjoy fellowship or participate in adult forum. |
We are offering the following classes this year:
 |
Lower Elementary: for children 3 through 5, taught by Jackie Dickey & Kim Gierke. Class will be held in the after school room next to the kitchen. The curriculum will give particular focus to the Bible stories of creation and the early Biblical figures such as Adam & Eve, Abraham, Joseph and Moses. |

|
 |
Middle Elementary: for children aged 6 and 7, taught by Kim Baratta & Katie Dupree. This class meets in the “Big kids room” next to fellowship hall. Children will begin to learn from the Bible using Children's Bibles to familiarize them with the rich developing story of God's love. |

 |
Upper Elementary: for children 8 through 12, taught by Kathy Haslwanter & Sandra Robertson. This class will meet in the after school room next to the kitchen. Using the Bible, children will not only read and discuss the stories of our faith in scriptures, but learn how to find scripture passages and navigate through the Bible. |
Confirmation: for children 13 and older, taught by Mark Neukirch & David Swartz. They will meet in the church library next to the gym. This class will be involved in confirmation preparations: learning about Baptism, The Gospel of Jesus Christ , the
Bible and the significance of its different parts.
Children’s Choir:
A new school year and a new Sunday School Choir season are here, and with them come new opportunities to help our children develop one of their most precious gifts---the singing voice. The Sunday School Choir membership this year will include students in grades 2-6. Every Sunday, thereafter, the rehearsals will be after the 10:00 a.m. service. After the rehearsals the children will continue to their Sunday School classes.
The Children’s Choir will perform on selected Sundays throughout the year at the 10 AM worship service. We request that your children be present 25 minutes early (9:35 a.m.) for rehearsing and robing on the Sundays that they are scheduled to sing. Cooperation on the part of everyone is needed for our choir to sing its best.

Note: Any special announcements regarding Sunday School classes can be found on the News & Events page.
